À environ une heure en train de Berlin, la petite ville de Lutherstadt Wittenberg nous a charmés avec ses édifices colorés, son canal et son histoire. Fondée au XIIe siècle, elle est devenue célèbre en 1517 quand Martin Luther y affiche ses 95 thèses contre le commerce des indulgences, et ainsi lance le mouvement de la Réforme protestante. Nous avons visité la Schlosskirche et passé la journée ensoleillée à visiter la vieille ville et ses ruelles.

About a one-hour train ride from Berlin, the little town of Lutherstadt Wittenberg charmed us with its colorful buildings, its canal and its history. Founded in the XII century, it became famous in 1517 after Martin Luther published his 95 theses against the selling of indulgences, therefore starting the protestant reform movement. We visited the Schlosskirche and spent the sunny day exploring the old city and its small streets.
