L'orme au boulet

 "The elm with the cannonball" 
This was the most famous tree in Quebec City because it has grown around a cannonball. Sadly the city had to cut it down this year because it was too sick and was getting dangerous. 

C'était l'arbre le plus célèbre de la ville de Québec car il avait poussé autour d'un boulet de canon. Malheureusement, la ville a dû l'abattre cette année car il était trop malade et devenait dangereux.

I'm entering this in the November Sketch Challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I created my layout using the sketch and added a fall embellishment as required.

Je l'inscris au défi de novembre de Scrap Our Stash. Il fallait s'inspirer du sketch et ajouter un ornement d'automne.

Tadoussac

 A few weeks ago we took a wonderful little trip to Tadoussac. I'm entering it in the October Sketch Challenge at Scrap Our Stash and I included Brown, Orange and Yellow colors in my layout.

Il y a quelques semaines on a fait une merveilleuse petite virée à Tadoussac. Je l'inscris au défi d'octobre de Scrap Our Stash et tel que spécifié j'ai utilisé les couleurs: brun, orange et jaune.

Cape George Nova Scotia

 Lors d'un voyage en Nouvelle-Écosse à l'été 2011 nous avons fait une halte photo au phare de Cape George. Je l'inscris au défi de Lasting Memories LM#567: 5 papiers à motif différents

This is from a trip in Nova Scotia, summer 2011. We made a stop at Cape George to take some pictures of the lighthouse. I'm entering it in Lasting Memories LM#567 - 5 different patterned papers.

Ottawa Canal Rideau

En février 2005 nous sommes allés patiner sur la patinoire du canal Rideau. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir et pris une délicieuse collation de queues-de-castor au kiosque de Beaver Tails.

In February 2005 we went skating on the Rideau Canal skateway. We had a lot of fun and had a delicious beaver tail snack at the Beaver Tails kiosk. (A fried dough pastry sold along the skateway).

Floride 2014

Florida 2014 - This is from the family trip we made in May 2014 to Orlando Florida, one of our favorite destination. We visited Disney World, Universal Studios and Kennedy Space Center. I'm entering it in Lasting Memories challenge #530: Going Places.

Ma nouvelle cuisine

My New kitchen - This is from when we renovated the kitchen in 2009 (It took me only 12 years to finally scrap it). I'm entering it in Lasting Memories challenge #529 "Before & After".
